Moisture damages hearing aids so to prolong the life of your hearing aid open the battery door each night and sit it on the gauze and screw the lid on. The silicon crystals are gold when they are active

When the crystals change to blue take the sachet out and microwave on high for 1 minute. Take the sachet containing the crystals out of the microwave and allow to cool. If the crystal return to gold after they are shaken then that is enough time otherwise microwave for another 30 seconds. DO NOT PUT YOUR HEARING AIDS IN THE MICROWAVE!
